About George Keralis

I started this blog site in an effort to help leaders become aware of different tools to use in building the effectiveness of their leadership capabilities. The idea came to me one morning while I watched my two grandsons erect a working city from Lego pieces, Lincoln logs and an electronic Erector Set. Wow. Their final outcome determined the pieces they needed to make the city come alive. Leadership requires us to choose the design pieces that will help us build whatever project we’re involved in accomplishing.

My partner in this project is my wife, Connie. We’ve been married 46 years and have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Our service to God includes 46 years of ministry in different realms:

  • Pastoring churches in revitalization
  • Serving as a Christian School administrator
  • Leading a new church plant
  • Leading a mid-sized church through transition
  • Developing leaders for Russian Churches over a nine-year stay in Moscow
  • Working as the Academic Dean for Summit Christian college and teaching in the classroom
  • Teaching online classes for the past three years at Summit Christian College

Now, we are shifting gears as we design a new ministry of consulting churches, teaching classes and sharpening leaders around us. In addition to all the practical experience, my design packet includes a BA in Bible and Ministry from Summit Christian College, an MA in Church Growth and World Missions, an MDiv in General Ministry and a DMin in Leadership Development for Church and Para-Church Organization all from Lincoln Christian University.

Finally, I am available for church consulting, preaching, teaching and mentoring. You can contact me at dzines4leaders@gmail.com.
